Your own shop — paid in June or euros
Sell physical goods and digital downloads right on your ForgeCMS website. No payment provider in between, no monthly fee.
What is the shop module?
The shop module turns any ForgeCMS website into a small online shop. You list your products in one simple text file, and every product gets a card with a picture, a price and an Order button. Your customers pay either in June (Ğ1), the free currency, or in euros by bank transfer — you decide per product.
There is no database, no payment provider taking a cut, and no monthly fee. The money goes straight from your customer to you.
How your customers buy
- Choose a product. The customer clicks Order on a product card.
- Fill in the form. Quantity, name, email — and for physical goods the shipping address. If a product has both prices, the customer picks June or euros.
- Get the payment details. After clicking Place order (payment required), the customer sees your Ğ1 address (or your IBAN), the exact amount and an order number like
G1-7KQ2MXRA. The same details arrive by email. - Pay. The customer pays from their own Ğ1 wallet (Cesium, Ğecko) or their bank app and puts the order number into the transfer comment.
- Done. As soon as the payment arrives, you and your customer both get an email. Digital products are delivered right away.
What happens on your side
- June payments are detected automatically. ForgeCMS checks the public Ğ1 blockchain every minute. When a transfer with the right order number arrives, the order is marked as paid — you don't have to do anything.
- Euro payments you confirm with one click. There is no connection to your bank. When you see the money in your account, you click the confirmation link in your order email — and everything else (emails, delivery) runs automatically.
- Physical goods you ship yourself, as usual. The order email contains everything you need: product, quantity, name and address.
- Nothing gets lost. Payments that can't be matched to an order still reach you by email, so you can sort them out by hand.
Selling digital products
E-books, plugins, music, templates: for digital products the customer automatically gets a license key and a personal download link once the payment has arrived. The link works for 30 days and up to 5 downloads. Your files are never public — they are not stored in the content repository, only on the server.
Before ordering, the customer confirms that delivery starts immediately and that the right of withdrawal ends with the download, as required by law.
Donations
Want to be supported without selling anything? A donation box shows your Ğ1 address with suggested amounts. When someone sends June with a word like "donation" in the comment, you get a notification by email.
Your catalogue — one small text file
Catalog {
Product { id: "honey-500" title: "Honey 500 g" price: "12.50" priceEur: "9.90" image: "honey.jpg" text: "From our own bees." }
Product { id: "ebook" title: "My e-book" price: "20" type: "digital" text: "PDF, 120 pages." }
}
price is the price in June, priceEur the price in euros. Leave one out and the product is only available in the other currency. Change a price, add a product — the shop updates itself.
Safe by design
- Your money stays yours. The server never holds a wallet key and never touches your money. It only reads public payments.
- Prices can't be manipulated. The price always comes from your catalogue, never from the order form.
- Your customers' data stays private. Orders are stored as small files on your server, not at a third party. The payment page never shows names, addresses or download links.
What it doesn't do (yet)
To keep it simple, the shop deliberately leaves out a few things:
- no shopping cart — one product per order (with any quantity),
- no credit card, PayPal or Stripe,
- no stock management and no automatic invoices,
- euro payments must be confirmed by you.
For a small shop, a creator, a farm shop or a community project that is usually all you need.
