Angela Mahr is a musician and journalist, not a programmer. With Claude Code and ForgeCMS she built both of her websites herself.
How the workshop works
We meet online by video call, three hours including breaks. The group is small, so everyone leaves with their own site instead of just watching.
1. Setup (about 45 minutes)
We set everything up together: Claude Code, a free Codeberg account and a repository for your website. You don't need to know anything beforehand.
2. Your site takes shape (about 90 minutes)
You tell the AI what you want: home page, what you offer, about you, contact. It writes the pages, you look at the result and say what should change. Along the way you learn how to give good instructions and how to stay in control of the result.
3. Going online and maintaining it yourself (about 45 minutes)
We show you how your site gets onto the web, how to add the legal pages, and how to change texts, pictures and dates yourself later on.
At the end you have a first version of your website and know how to carry on by yourself.
What you need
- a laptop or PC (Windows, Mac or Linux)
- a Claude subscription (Pro, about €20 a month, cancel monthly)
- your texts and a few photos, bullet points are fine
You don't need any coding skills.
Who it's for
For freelancers, therapists, coaches, artists, associations and anyone who wants their own website without paying a site builder every month or asking someone for every change.
Why no site builder?
The sites are built with ForgeCMS: no database, no plugins that constantly need updates, and no subscription trap. Your content lives as plain text files in your own repository. It belongs to you, and you can move at any time.
Price
€119 per person for the three-hour online workshop. The Claude subscription comes on top and runs through your own account.
Rather on site?
I also come to you, your group, your team or your association. The workshop is the same, plus travel costs and one night in a hotel. We agree on that individually, and a couch to sleep on (couchsurfing) is fine too, of course. Just tell us in the form below where you are and how many of you there are.
