How it works

All events live in one text file in your content repository. A new date is a short block — title, date, place, a flyer or photo, and optionally a longer description:

Event {
    title:  "Open Stage Night"
    start:  "2026-11-21 19:30"
    place:  "Café Zwischenraum"
    image:  "events/open-stage.jpg"
    teaser: "Ten minutes on stage for everyone."
}
  • Sorts itself. Upcoming events first, past ones below — you never move or delete old dates. The last five past events are shown, the rest with one click.
  • Flyer previews. Large flyers are scaled down automatically for the list; the event page shows the full image.
  • Calendar export. Every upcoming event has an "Add to calendar" link that works on phones, Outlook, Apple and Google Calendar.
  • Your words, any language. Headings, buttons and the date format are yours to choose — "Gigs" instead of "Events", in every language your site has.
  • Found by search engines. Each event is marked up as a schema.org event.
  • No database, no JavaScript, no tracking. One-time license, no subscription.
